Protein Power Bean Breakfast Bagel

Okay friends, if you haven’t yet started adding bean dip as the base of your avocado toast or breakfast bagel, get ready for a seriously upgraded breakfast experience. Bean dip adds the most gorgeous creaminess, a huge burst of flavor, and an incredible boost of protein and fiber.


In this recipe, I used a toasted sesame bagel, but I often make this exact combination on toasted sourdough. Topped with bean dip, avocado, sautéed tempeh or tofu, and cilantro, and paired with some roasted sweet potato wedges, you’ve got yourself a gorgeous breakfast that will keep you nourished for hours!

I personally love to mix both the rosemary garlic and zesty beet dip together on my bagels!

Protein Power Breakfast Bagel

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) tub Beans for Beings Rosemary Garlic Dip
  • 1 (8-oz) tub Beans for Beings Zesty Beet Dip
  • 1 toasted bagel (or sourdough)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 block sautéed tempeh or tofu
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 1 bunch cilantro

Instructions

  1. Bake sweet potato wedges at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
  2. Toast bagel or bread of choice.
  3. Spread one large spoonful each of Beans for Beings Zesty Beet Dip & Rosemary Garlic Dip onto bagel/toast.
  4. Top with avocado slices, cooked tempeh/tofu, and chopped cilantro
  5. Enjoy your delicious, bean-filled breakfast!
