Using bean dip as a creamy pizza base has become one of my favorite easy dinner hacks. It’s also one of my favorite ways to transform Beans for Beings Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Dip into a complete meal. As I’ve never been a huge fan of vegan cheese alternatives (I’ve found most leave an odd aftertaste and are quite oil-heavy), I spent years on the hunt for a creamy alternative that would be equally satisfying.

And the solution that was just under my nose the whole time…bean dip!

While bean dips themselves are a bit thick to be used as a sauce, I discovered that by just whisking them with a little warm water, they transform a gorgeous creamy sauce that combines perfectly with tomato sauce as a base.

Bean dip adds a super lovely savory flavor, protein and fiber from the beans, and feel much lighter than vegan or traditional dairy cheese.

Just spread your dip on the base of your favorite crust with a little tomato sauce and any veggies you have on hand, and you have a delicious, easy dinner in less than 30 mintues!

Why You’ll Love Creamy Bean & Veggie Pizza:

  1. Lighter than cheese — A dairy-free cheese alternative that is oil-free and significantly less processed, and equally creamy!

  2. Creamy without the heaviness — The bean dip adds a lovely creaminess to the pizza without the heaviness of dairy: just protein and fiber from the beans.

  3. Incredible easy to make — All you need is bean dip and warm water to create this creamy base.

  4. Versatile — Delicious as a base on its own, mixed with tomato sauce, or mixed with pesto! Pairs well with any veggies you have on hand.
